SUMMARY:Cray Valley Award On-air Activity Period
DESCRIPTION:This activity period is to help everyone log contacts towards the Cray Valley Award. \nThe activity periods are not contests\, but devised to encourage activity amongst members to make it easier to obtain the points required to claim the award. \n\nFor a valid contact to have taken place\, signal reports must be exchanged\, and dates\, times\, bands\, modes\, reports exchanged must be logged.\nCray Valley members will call “CQ Cray Valley” on SSB or FM\, and “CQ CV” on CW.\nCray Valley members will use the following centre frequencies:\n\n\nSSB: 144.325\, 7.170 and 3.720MHz\nCW: 7.020\, 3.520MHz\nFM: 70.425\, 145.350MHz\n\n\nActivity periods will take place at the following times:\n\n\nSaturday 17th May 2025 – 40m SSB/CW: 1100z – 1300z (noon – 2pm local UK time)\nSaturday 17th May 2025 – 2m: SSB/FM: 1300z – 1500z (2pm – 4pm local UK time)\nSunday 18th May 2025 – 80m: SSB/CW: 1700z – 1900z (6pm – 8pm local UK time)\n\n\nSome of the club’s callsigns (e.g. G3RCV\, GX3RCV\, G1RCV\, GX1RCV) will be active at these times.
